Write a commentToday, we were at a press conference in Queens Park, Toronto, to support yesterday's launch of Andre's Residents Bill of Rights for Disabled Persons.

Joy Seguin presented the story of her son Andre Seguin, a disabled young man, who was a victim of abuse in a Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services agency.
Andre's story was my inspiration for drafting Andre's Residents Bill of Rights.
MPP Lise Vaugeois did not hesitate to join and reinforce the effort to have the bill become formalized.
Having MPP Lise Vaugeois and her staff's unrelenting support, behind the scenes, has been a god send for advocacy work.
Minister Parsa 's associate minister articulated that it is unacceptable for service agencies to trespass family advocating on behalf of their disabled loved ones.
The journey for justice continues.
